Following the Ofsted inspection in November, we are delighted to be able to share our recent Ofsted report.
We are incredibly proud of this outcome. The school has been judged as ‘Strong’ in all areas, with two areas, Inclusion, and Personal Development and Wellbeing, judged as ‘Exceptional’. Under the new Ofsted framework, an exceptional judgement reflects best practice nationally, this is a remarkable achievement and one that reflects the collective effort of the whole school community.
This report recognises the specialist nature of NRHS and the care, expertise, and consistency with which pupils are supported. It speaks clearly about the strength of relationships, the inclusive culture of the school, and the way pupils are helped to feel safe, understood, and able to flourish both academically and personally.
Inspectors were impressed by the pupils’ honesty, resilience, confidence, and insight into their own development. Pupils spoke with pride about the school and the support they receive.
The strength of the partnership between the school and parents/carers is reflected throughout the report as also acknowledges by the inspectors.
Mr Walters, Executive Headteacher commented: “I am incredibly proud of whole staff team at NRHS, their commitment, compassion, and professionalism sits at the heart of everything we do. This report is a testament to their work, day in and day out, often in complex and challenging circumstances, always with pupils’ best interests at the centre.”
