From the moment they put on their football kit, there was a buzz of excitement and confidence in the air. Once the matches began, the team played superbly, working together, following the guidance of their coach and showing real determination in every game.
Even with a last-minute change in goal, the players adapted brilliantly. Their teamwork and resilience shone through, finishing the tournament with an excellent record of three wins and one draw. The group’s enthusiasm and togetherness were a joy to watch and their attitude reflected the spirit and pride of NRHS.
When asked about their performance, pupils said they wanted to “win every game” and their effort showed it. Every player gave their all, showing creativity, focus, and a commitment to supporting one another on and off the pitch.
The U12 also delivered an incredible performance. From the first whistle, they played with passion, skill, and a real sense of unity. They stormed through their fixtures with three convincing victories, scoring an impressive total of sixteen goals without conceding once.
One player stood out for an extraordinary eight-goal tally, while another added five of their own, but what truly defined the performance was the teamwork, encouragement and shared joy between every member of the squad.

It was truly a special day for NRHS. Both teams displayed not only excellent football ability but also respect, leadership, and sportsmanship, even when winning comfortably. Pupils expressed how much they love representing the school, celebrating their achievements with pride and joy.
