New Rush Hall School Annual Fun Day

Sunshine, inflatables, ice cream and plenty of smiles could only mean one thing – it was time for New Rush Hall School’s Annual Fun Day.

Held on the final day before the half term break, the school field was transformed and specially decorated for the occasion. With music playing throughout the afternoon and over 250 pupils, staff and family members attending, there was a real sense of excitement from the moment the event began.

There was something for everyone to enjoy. Pupils spent the afternoon exploring a huge range of activities and inflatables across the field. From obstacle courses and inflatable laser tag to the climbing wall and bucking bronco, there was always something new to try. Families joined in the fun, pupils challenged their friends, and staff got involved too, helping to create a fantastic atmosphere across the site.

One of the most popular parts of the day was the free barbecue and ice cream van. Families were able to enjoy food and refreshments throughout the afternoon at no cost, helping to create a welcoming and inclusive event. A face painter was also on hand throughout the day, helping pupils and younger family members get into the spirit of the event.

For many pupils, Fun Day is one of the most anticipated events of the year. One pupil attending for the first time said it was unlike anything he had ever experienced before at a school. He explained that he had been excited to attend his first Fun Day and was already looking forward to returning next year.

Events like Fun Day are an important part of life at New Rush Hall School. They provide an opportunity for pupils, families and staff to come together, celebrate the successes of the half term and enjoy time as a community. Judging by the smiles, laughter and queue for the ice cream van, this year’s event was another huge success.
