A huge congratulations to our Year 11 pupils who collected their GCSE results today. This year’s cohort threw themselves into a wide range of subjects, from Art and Business to Spanish, History, Music and Construction, showing just how much passion, curiosity and commitment they bring to their learning.
Every pupil who sat English, Maths and Science achieved a qualification in these subjects. That is an outstanding achievement and a real reflection of the resilience, effort and determination they have shown throughout their time with us. Our pupils should be incredibly proud of themselves, and they set a brilliant example for all those coming up behind them.
We’re also proud of the exciting next steps our pupils are taking. Thanks to the work of our dedicated Careers Team, they’ve had the chance to explore different sectors through Careers Fairs, college and university visits, and work experience opportunities. As a result, they’re moving on with confidence into a diverse range of pathways, from Business Studies, Engineering, Mechanics and Media Studies at College or Sixth Form.The choices they’ve made show ambition, creativity and belief in what’s possible. Pupils will continue to be supported by the Careers Team as they transition from school to further education.
Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our staff, who have worked tirelessly to support, guide and challenge this year group. Their commitment has helped our pupils, not just to achieve qualifications, but to grow in confidence and character.
