Harry Potter Studio Tour

Year 9 pupils visited  the Warner Bros. Studio Tour to explore the making of Harry Potter, view the iconic sets, and discover the history behind the film series. This trip supported the Fantasy/Dystopian Unit in KS3 English curriculum, which explores texts such as Lord of the Rings1984, and Harry Potter itself.

Pupils entered through The Great Hall and toured several famous sets, with highlights including Hagrid’s Hut, the Forbidden Forest, and Gringotts’ Wizarding Bank. After a ride on the Hogwarts’ Express, they even had the chance to experience riding a broomstick and pose for a photo, making them feel like part of the magical world.

The day concluded with a visit to the gift shop, where many pupils bought items from the shop, including a few personalised wands, before enjoying a packed lunch on the way back to school.

One pupil said, ‘I have watched all of the Harry Potter films and it was amazing to see some of the sets from the films, this trip has really helped me have a better understanding of the units we are studying in English.”
