New Rush Hall School put on a fantastic display in the U12 South London League this week, delivering strong performances against tough competition. Facing teams from Montana House, Bromley Trust Academy, Rowhill, Broomhill Bank North, and Aspire, the team showed resilience, teamwork and determination throughout the tournament.
Football can be a flashpoint, especially for pupils who struggle to manage their frustrations, but they are learning to work as a team, look out for each other and support each other when they can see that a member of the team is becoming frustrated.
The opening game saw NRHS secure a hard-fought 1-0 victory, with the team netting the crucial winner. It was a brilliant team performance, setting the tone for the day. The second and third matches both ended in goalless draws, with solid defending and disciplined play keeping the opposition at bay.
In the final game, NRHS finished in style with an emphatic 4-0 win. Every player played their part across all matches, showcasing great teamwork, effort and perseverance.
