This December, our Christmas Craft Club brought together creativity, festive fun, and lots of joyful learning. Over four weeks, pupils explored hands-on projects that helped them develop new skills and discover the joy of making homemade gifts for family and friends.
In Week 1, we kicked off the club by making soy candles. Pupils learned how to melt, scent, and pour their own candles, creating beautiful gifts, perfect for the holiday season.
Week 2 was deliciously fun as we baked Biscoff muffins. The children loved measuring, mixing, and of course, tasting their sweet creations!
During Week 3, everyone got crafty again with homemade lip balm. Students experimented with natural ingredients and learned how everyday items can be transformed into thoughtful, useful gifts.
For our final week, Week 4, we ended on a sweet note by making snowman truffles. Decorating these cute treats brought lots of laughter and excitement.
Throughout the club, the pupils not only made wonderful crafts but also built confidence, teamwork, and practical skills. Most importantly, we shared plenty of smiles and festive cheer. We’re already looking forward to next year’s creative adventures!
One pupil said: ‘Who knew making candles and lip balm could be such fun. I really enjoyed the club and can now make really nice gifts for my family.’
