The Autumn Term was brought to a close when the school brought the festive spirit to life with activities for pupils of all ages, ensuring everyone had a chance to enjoy the magic of the season. The celebrations aimed to create joyful experiences for those who might not typically have the opportunity to take part in such events.
Primary pupils had a particularly delightful time, starting with a cinema trip to watch the holiday classics Elf and Home Alone. The laughter and excitement from these beloved films made the outing unforgettable, especially for those experiencing the big screen for the first time.
The fun continued at the school’s Christmas show, where pupils enjoyed lively performances and joined in with carol singing. The highlight for many was meeting Santa Banta, whose cheerful demeanour and small gifts brought smiles to the children’s faces, making their day even more special.
Secondary pupils also embraced the holiday cheer with trips to Winter Wonderland, ice skating and a school-wide Christmas Carol Sing-Along. Together, these activities fostered a sense of community and ensured that everyone at NRHS experienced the joy and togetherness of the Christmas season.
