The Rotary Club of Barking have arranged events for Special Needs Children since 1992 and this year we were lucky enough to be invited by them to a special showing of Zippo’s Circus.
Many of our pupils had never been to a circus before and didn’t know what to expect. They were treated to acrobats, trapeze acts, musicians, dancers, hoopers, tightrope walkers and jugglers.
There were many exciting moments and our pupils were fully enthralled. One pupil said: “I really enjoyed going to the circus, I thought it would be boring but I liked watching the motorbikes, they went really quickly and it was quite scary to watch.”
We are very grateful for the invite from The Rotary Club of Barking and hope to attend similar events again in the future.
