Congratulations to all of our Y11 pupils who received their GCSE results today. This cohort were entered for the most GCSEs across the widest range of subjects (including BTECs) than any previous cohort.
All pupils entered for English, Maths and Science exams have gained a qualification in these subjects. 89% of grades achieved by pupils at GCSE level were Grade 3 or above, with 40% of these pupils achieving Grade 4 or above in every GCSE that they completed.
This is a tremendous achievement and a testament to all of the hard work that our pupils have put in over the past two years. They should be very proud of how they have applied themselves to their studies. They are an inspiration to all those pupils who are following in their footsteps.
We would like to thank our dedicated Careers Team who have supported our Y11 pupils in exploring their future career paths and given them the knowledge and experience opportunities in different sectors which has enabled them to confidently select the courses they would like to study in Further Education. Our pupils are continuing their education across a variety of subjects including E-Gaming, an internship at TLF, Musical Theatre and Business Studies, to name but a few chosen subjects.
We would also like to thank all staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that the pupils were fully supported in their learning.
