Team Building at Flip Out

Today Year 8 visited Flip Out in Lakeside for a team-building activity. This reward trip was organised for the class as all pupils performed incredibly well during their first Science Assessment and we wanted to show the pupils how proud we all are of their hard work and success achieved during this term.

This term in Science, pupils have been learning about Microbes, Health and the Human Body. Pupils have also taken part in practical lessons using Agar Jelly to grow Micro-organisms such as Bacteria. All the pupils engaged well during the practical work and were very excited to observe the growth of colonies of bacteria on their Agar Jelly plates.

The trip really encouraged the pupils to work together, show respect to one another and form new friendships. The day was completed with a meal that everybody thoroughly enjoyed!
