Congratulations to all of our Y11 pupils who received their GCSE results today. This year group are the first cohort to sit formal GCSE exams since the start of the pandemic.
Pupils have had to manage changes to their learning over the past four years, in addition to starting their GCSE courses.
It is a testament to their courage, determination, perseverance and resilience that they sat their exams and today’s results show that all of their hard work has paid off. They should be very proud of how they have applied themselves to their studies. They are an inspiration to all those pupils who are following in their footsteps.
We would like to thank our dedicated Careers Team who have supported our Y11 pupils in exploring their future career paths and given them the knowledge and experience opportunities in different sectors which has enabled them to confidently select the courses they would like to study in Further Education. We would also like to thank all staff who have worked tirelessly to ensure that they were supported in their learning.
