Primary pupils enjoyed a visit from Hainault Fire Brigade. The classes absolutely loved using the hoses, dressing up and meeting the crew; even the adults got involved!
The pupils also appreciated learning about what all the equipment is used for, how to become a fire person and the crew spoke about their responsibilities.
All the pupils were thoroughly engaged and asked lots of questions. Sub-Officer Paul even commented on how ‘well-mannered and inquisitive our pupils were’.
It was a great experience for all, especially when some of us were soaked by the hoses on a hot sunny day!
