Pupils in Sapphire class enjoyed lots of Harry Potter-themed activities this week. They read extracts from the book and watched clips from the film to help them write a fact file about Harry Potter.
They made props such as wands, badges and glasses for their costumes. They also attended Professor Snape’s potion-making lesson where they made a laughing potion, using ingredients such as wart powder and dragon blood. They then designed their own potions to be added to the class potion recipe book!
The catering staff cooked up their own treats and dressed up to help the pupils get into the mood for the day.
