In Year 5, we have been reading the book Gangster Granny by David Walliams. In the book, Granny and her Grandson Ben put a plan together to steal the Crown Jewels from the Tower of London. Emerald class were very intrigued so we set off to the Tower of London to see how Granny and Ben made the plan to steal the Crown Jewels.
At the Tower of London, we saw the beautiful jewels and several other ornaments that were used at the Queen Elizabeth’s Coronation. We also went to the dungeons which was very scary.
We saw a lot of people who worked at the Tower of London who showed us around the Tower. It was a fun day and we would love to go again so we could visit other areas of the Tower of London.
