We are extremely proud of a poem written by one of our pupils which has been published in ‘Empowered Beyond Thought’.
The poem was submitted for a competition for secondary school pupils which challenged young writers to consider what was important to them and to address subjects that mattered to them.
‘Empowered Beyond Thought’ aims to give young people a voice and a chance to express themselves freely and honestly.
There are some excellent poems in the book, but ‘Dear Jessica’ is definitely the best one in our humble opinion.
