Amethyst class visit Sea Life London

Amethyst class visited Sea Life Centre London. This links to the pupils learning in Science where they have been exploring Habitats. Pupils identified animals that live in the sea, coral reefs and the rainforest.

The pupils were mesmerised by the sharks… one of the pupils said, ‘one wanted to eat me! They wouldn’t stop watching us!’

Back in class pupils will be researching the endangered species they learnt about and will be exploring ways to protect them and their natural habitats.

This trip has raised their awareness about plastic pollution in the ocean and the damage it causes to biodiversity throughout the world.
